So it looks like someone may have been scoping our outhouses. What’s the best option for cloud storage cctv cameras (probably 3or4). Only issue router is opposite side of the house and the signal’s not good at the garage door. Up £400 spend.

Netgear Arlo. The signal goes from a base station, not the router so I’ve got the router in one corner of the house, a WiFi booster with a LAN socket in the other corner of the house which the base station is plugged into. The cameras then reach the base station quite easily, through 30m of air and a couple of brick and concrete walls.

Ours led to a conviction for a local scumbag.

I’ve used a set of LAN extenders that plug into the mains socket to put our outhouses on our network. I’ve then run Cat5 cable within the buildings to connect up our IP cameras using a POE switch.
