[Closed] Windstopper jacket needing repaired ...
Zip on the pocket has broken so who can I trust to repair it properly? Jacket was expensive and works brilliantly apart from the zip.
Am waiting to hear back from TG Store although not sure whether I actually bought it from them.
Any recommendations would be great.

What's the fabric?
If it's 'just' Windstopper (i.e. not any kind of waterproof membrane type stuff) and just the pocket, I'd have thought any local seamstress/repairs/alterations type place would be able to do it.

I'm assuming that Windstopper has some sort of membrane as it is water-resistant hence requiring specialist repair.
Checked out LSR and I'm sure I've used them in the past for Goretex repairs. They don't mention Windstopper though.
Looked on the Gore Bike Wear website and they recommend Scottish Mountain Gear. Problem is that postage will be horrendous! Will make an enquiry anyway.
TGStore should repair even if you bought elsewhere, FOC though if you bought from them

If you can't get it done FOC by Gore, then +1 for LSR they replaced a zip for me on a Phantom jacket
Jacket is 15 months old and presumably it's one year guarantee. Anyway, have e-mailed them again so will check costs against the repairers you've kindly suggested.
