  • Which glue for cycling shoes soles?

Use the hot-melt glue gun, or superglue. The rubber tread has come away from the stiff sole and split a bit. I quite like the shoes so would like to keep them as a spare pair after replacement.

Superglue won’t work. Too brittle, non gap filling.

My dad used to use that Shoo Goo stuff on his running shoes when I was a young lad, I’d forgotten all about it. It’s just the sort of thing the local hardware shop would have, I’ll go take a look. Thanks.

Shoo Goo works on all of my cycling shoes due to far to much hikeabike!
