  • Where can I find a pair of XT shifter base caps?

    I’m trying to find a pair of Shimano ‘Base Cap & Bolt’ kits for my XT (SLM-780) shifters so I can remove the indicator windows.

    Been looking everywhere but can’t find anyone with them in stock.

    Anyone know where I can find some?

    Have you lost the ones that come with the shifters (take the indicators off, you’ll see them)?

    Aren’t they part of the shifter window? They are on SLX. ie remove window, and unclick from underside…

    I’ve taken the indicators off and there’s nothing there.

    Shimano state ‘sold separately’ – bless ’em…
