    Anyone know anything about them?

I guess it’s maybe 40 years old, but other than that I know nothing.

I’d like to get rid – it’s mrs J’s, but it’s in MY garage 👿

It would appear so. Thanks for that, it puts a slightly different complexion on things 🙂

I grew up playing on one exactly like that. My mum still had it in her front room but it needs a little sensitive restoration after us three kids and next generation kids have all messed about
    with it.
Nice. You should restore the mane etc…

If it needs, and is worth, restoring, Stevenson’s are the people to talk to.

Why am I not surprised at CFH knowing that!?

Incidentally, my in laws have something suspiciously similar that monkfingerjnr likes a go on. Maybe I should double check the label when we go over next time…

I have one sitting in the garage from the 1940s in need of a saddle.

Mrs TG bought one that looks the same recently, wasn’t very clean, but had all it’s mane and tail. She paid £220, but she has seen fully restored ones online for £500plus

To add to the story. I stuck it up on Gumtree for £50. The phone was red hot within about 15 minutes.
I need to get a quote for replacing its mane, tale and some of the leather.
The only fly in the ointment is that Junior 1 has got wind of it and decided that it’s the best toy ever and doesn’t want me to sell it – I’m going to offer to swap it for his PS3 8)

Depends if the OP really wants to pony up the cash.
