    In my quest to go proper SS whilst keeping the wife calm, I could swap my vert drop out bike to an Inbred for £139 atm.

    Anything else to consider around this price range that may be a better option?

    Buy my Kineses Decade Virsa. I’ll do it for the same price.

    Rides better than an Inbred (really, not just sales pitch).

    here it is looking all singlespeedy;

    You’ll struggle to match On one for price, but the £299 and £325 El mariachis from Triton are a good deal, the swingy dropouts work a treat..
    But they’re still double the price of an Inbred…

    Buy that nice green Kinesis, before someone else does.

    Www – dont s’pose its 18″ and comes with a headset for a 1/18 steerer does it?

    Those Salsa’s are 29er which although id like one, mean too much component cost.

    Slidey drop Inbred is a bargain. They ride nice, & when you do come to your senses & get a 29er Inbred, there’s always a market for an Inbred. Buy it now, but book a nice table for Valentine’s night.

    But, if I was looking at another baby wheeler I’d get the Salsa.
