Most comfortable MTB shoes I've ever worn

I've never bought the same twice in shoes, but I'll buy these again when they die. Nice wide fitting too.

Spesh BH Sport(?) shoes with Sealskinz socks. They're bottom of the range, but simple (all velcro), solid and cheapish.

Spesh Sawpits. They're very comfortable, but not as long lasting as the seven year old Spesh Rockhoppers I cannot seem to kill.

I've got a pair of seldom used Vans SPDs too. They're inflexible and weigh well over a pound each, you feel like Frankenstein's monster in them.

Sidi Dominators, vans or shimano winter boots.
