What happened to grievous angel?

Hi all,
Not sure how legit the trail called grievous angel up on ranmore common was but we were up there today and it has been completely trashed. Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to stop people riding it. Just wondering if anyone knows what has happened there?

I'm still a bit confused about this - is it that this 'organised' DH hill event was beign run on illegal trails?
