Ford F150 5.0L V8 4x4 near Pemberton, British Columbia

I like it because it cost $1650 which is approximately £1050. The 4x4 works as does the air con and the cruise control.

Another budget 4X4 here. Mostly used for towing a trailer, sometimes towing the trailer off road, and essential in winter. Virtually unstoppable with Mud Terrains and difflock.

I used to have an 86 110 van. And I'm on the hunt for a new -to me- defender! Spotted some interesting ones so far. Need to get rid of my 3 series 1st though.

It's just not the same.

Off to buy that tomorrow with a view to dropping it in the front.......it has a 2.5TD 19j atm thats not great - either for power or longevity and is showing signs of rings blowing and heavily pressurising the crank case.

Kenneth - very nice looking that effort.

z1ppy - the Rangie was 100" standard ( and also the disco - essentially same chassis ). The full cage one looks like a bobtail effort of chopping the rear overhang off.

<speechles> WTF happened</speechless> I thought Scaled's photo, looked like a 4x in a dodgy position...

Fisha.. I stand corrected, it's been a while since I drooled over "landrover owner", and though the forward control 101 was the only 100 incher, my mistake.

Not 100% sure other than she was a new starter had no 4x4 training so shouldn't even have been driving a 4x4 but she was backing up on top of the bank trying to turn around and ended up in the dyke.

Got to admit she got it nice and square.

Some fabulous 4x's on here, Zeus's Landy is wonderful, the suspension is outrageous!
Angus, I don't know how close to the middle of nowhere your top pic of the Tuareg was taken, but it looks like the litterbug emmets even get out there, judging by the empty water bottle tossed on the ground! Looks like a fun place to drive, though.

Sad, but in a funny sort of way comforting, in that us Brits are always being accused, with some justification, that we're filthy litterbugs, but other nations are as bad. 🙁
