I love landies.. but could never afford to own one. That 100inch(?) Rangie with the full roll cage is lush.

Kenneth - very nice looking that effort.

z1ppy - the Rangie was 100" standard ( and also the disco - essentially same chassis ). The full cage one looks like a bobtail effort of chopping the rear overhang off.

<speechles> WTF happened</speechless> I thought Scaled's photo, looked like a 4x in a dodgy position...

Fisha.. I stand corrected, it's been a while since I drooled over "landrover owner", and though the forward control 101 was the only 100 incher, my mistake.

Not 100% sure other than she was a new starter had no 4x4 training so shouldn't even have been driving a 4x4 but she was backing up on top of the bank trying to turn around and ended up in the dyke.

Got to admit she got it nice and square.

pictonroad - tell me about the dodge - is it a dodge ram (early one) or a dakota?

what engine is it,

you must be getting bored of it and be thinking of selling it ?

Some fabulous 4x's on here, Zeus's Landy is wonderful, the suspension is outrageous!
Angus, I don't know how close to the middle of nowhere your top pic of the Tuareg was taken, but it looks like the litterbug emmets even get out there, judging by the empty water bottle tossed on the ground! Looks like a fun place to drive, though.

I've got a J plate Fourtrak.
It's called Dog.
It had a bust head gasket but still starts and runs first time, evertime.
It's now being fixed :O)

Litter is the ruin of this country, even in the middle of nowhere. In fact, I think the black plastic bag may be the national flower of Jordan.

The last time I saw a Landy on the end of a piece of string, my Forester was puling it out of a ditch in the snow. Lucky he had a winch on the front...

If anyone wants a camp site for next years Dyfi then can I recommend Bwlchgwyn Farm just across the estuary from Barmouth. Stunning place.

Sad, but in a funny sort of way comforting, in that us Brits are always being accused, with some justification, that we're filthy litterbugs, but other nations are as bad. 🙁
Zeus, I love your Landy! That looks like just the most fun to drive. 😀
