on this bank holiday weekend have sorted out the turntable and dusted of some old vinyl and am really keen to build a little collect and wondered if anyone knew the best websites to buy from.
Any help or knowledge given appreciated.

barzy38 – I may be interested in buying some Vinyl, finally got back into it after 25 years. Obviously Mooly has first choice. What genres do you have?

Sometimes the prices can be silly on eBay, its also worth checking what you can get stuff for on here too:

Really depends on what you are after.

Diverse Vinyl (www.diversevinyl.com) has a wide selection but have found prices are a bit on the high side.

Rockbox and PIccadilly records are also worth a look as can be quite a bit cheaper than Diverse.

For new releases Amazon can be a lot cheaper than other places.

For second hand stuff Discogs is worth a look.

Sounds of the universe records for me – home of the wonderfully eclectic soul jazz records label.

I’m going the other way and about to have a big sell off.
I don’t wnat to put it all on ebay though. Where should I sell?

I have a large mix of Dance 12″, Hiphop singls on 12″ and a load of general 12″ albums and 7″ singles.

I have loads of old house and techno, if you want something specific, let me know, although I couldn’t part with a lot of it, especially all the old acid

How about this forum? Make a list up and let us know what you have. Jaydee plastic dreams would be nice.

If you ever find yourself in London you’d be doing yourself a favour visiting ‘Sister Ray Records’, Berwick Street, Soho.
