My passport expired a couple of years ago.
I have been asked to go to Ireland for a couple of days, for work ( flying Manchester to Cork ) in Mid January.
I’m concerned that I might not get a renewed passport back in time, but believe that as a UK national, I don’t need a passport for this trip. Maybe using my photo card driving licence as I.D.
Anyone done this, or do it regularly ?

Should know which airline we are on tomorrow, will probably check with them, but will crack on and get renewal applied for anyway.
