Got a new car last week (nearly new Grand C-Max)
Before picking it up, the dealer got a local tow-bar fitter in to fit a removable tow bar for me. All good, until I tried to hang my bike-rack on it. Tow-ball went on ok, but I simply can’t get to the electric socket. Its up behind the bumper. I can see that if it were all connected, it would fit, but its simply too difficult to thread the plug up into the bumper, lift the flap and connect it together.

Obviously, I should go back to the dealer and/or towbar fitter, but it could be rectified with a simple right-angle electrics connector, giving me a vertical socket, if such a thing exists. Does such a thing exist?

are you sure it doesn’t swing down? They’re usually on a bracket that rotates through 90 deg.

The electrical socket will tilt down. Pull down to use push up to hide away. Simples
