All seems very passive aggressive to me. I’m from brizzle, never even heard of the north/south divide until I joined the army. I was genuinely confused by the cockanees and yorkshires harping on about flat caps and shandy. They all liked the phrase “coider I up lan’lorrrd” 😀

I must admit I have succumbed to Yorkshire Gold. Still, diversity is good.
