    So…..

    Any reason why a SRAM 9spd chain wouldn’t work with my old Campag 9spd set up?

    And also, will a Campag cassette run with a Shimano rear mech?

    may do, you can only tell by trying

    I run a 10 speed shimano cassette with a campag record mech and chain with no problems on my roadie

    I also use SRAM power links on campag chains with no problems

    Search for “shimergo”, I think it’s by Chris Bell (the eggrings guy) and it explains how to mix and match… Pretty sure it’s on the higpath engineering website at http://www.highpath.net
