For various tedious reasons we have to book our holidays a long way in advance.

Made a provisional booking on a place in Weymouth in January for August 2018. It was too far off for a formal booking, but as far as they we concerned we had it. A formal booking could be made in September 2017 for it.

Looked on the website today and it was booked.

Phoned them up to see if the booking was ours.

It wasn’t.

What sort of thing are you looking for? I’m almost local so if Weymouth is the place for you maybe there are alternatives that I (or others) can recommend

If you’re happy to be flexible there’s loads of stuff where you could be 30 mins from most of the South Dorset Jurassic beaches. That’s what I’d do.

Weymouth is a good base. Anyhow… phuk’em.
