11 tooth cog under pressure chain skips , remove cog replace with xtr don’t skip but does on next one up. Up front is a oval narrow wide ( absolute black ).

Just about to order one of these. Is the chain new?

New chain , I also work in a bike store and we are baffled. Not the greatest machining, these babies are made by Sturmey Archer I believe.

Mine is problem free, 10 speed 11-42, Clark’s chain 32t NW up front

mine was noisy as **** when I first installed it but seems to have settled down now after 100 or so miles.

Did you use the lock-ring that came with the cassette?

I used mine for the first time yesterday (11-40 10spd) with a new SRAM chain.
Was a bit noisy in the 40 but fine everywhere else.
I did have to tweak my b tension when i installed it which I thought was a little odd as I’d been running an XT with a Wolf expander absolutely fine.

No issues here with the 11-42, new kmc chain and superstar I/o oval chainring. Maybe a little noisy in 42 but no other worries

Easy enough fit and changes fine, it’ll definitely do me until I go 11 speed.
