We're staying near Troutbeck Bridge for the week. It's been a a week of firsts: first run in the bike trailer for our 6-month-old and first run up-front on the Wee Ride for our 2 year-old.

once the boys are tucked up in bed we're house-bound. We fancied takeaway tonight. We had some good food from the Spice of Bengal last night, but couldn't be bothered cooking again and fancied something different.

I'm sure some of the regulars must have local knowledge of where's hot and where's not in the area. I'd appreciate any recommendations; Chinese, Thai, Indian again, or anything elso other than Pizza (Mrs M doesn't fancy that!)

let's see if Singletrack can give yell.com a run for it's money!

Opted for Zefirellis in the end- realised they did takeaway. Pasta for the wife, pizza for me, followed by Withnail and I and a good bottle of wine. Fortunately our self-catering pad is in better shape than Uncle Monty's cottage!
