I'm going out to marshal from 5am onwards. I may take a selection of masks with me.
I have one of these, I think it may have the best effect on addled minds 😈

Friends in Scottish Hills Barmy Army and P Nutters. Both in male pairs. Currently 14th and 15th. Both hard as nails though so expect them to move up the leader board during the night.

Thought Keith was going very well, didn't realise Jason was riding SS. Don't think he's on a fat bike this time?
.
Keith's son Ben won it a couple of years ago in a team of four. He was about 15 at the time, the combined age of his team was 56! That was some ride. Must be in the genes somewhere.
.
One race I keep saying I'll never do. However, it only 4 years and 8 solo races ago that I was saying I'd never a do a 24...

Stu Pegg; 13th solo. Was in a team up until a couple of weeks ago, then circumstances meant he ended up soloing, son goodness knows how much proper prep he's done.

Go on the man in black.

I've ridden the Isle of Man end2end 3 times. Guy Martin rode 2 of these and I beat him both times over taking him both times at the top of the first big climb.

Now he's in 2nd place and only 10 minutes behind the leader I don't think I'll look for a race with him in as he's come on so strong he'll kick my arse. I'll retire the victor I think.

Well done Guy......

You can watch it on the iPlayer.

There was a film crew interviewing some of the Team JMC lads yesterday.

Looks like it is going to end up

1st Terrahawk
2nd Guy Martin
3rd Keith Forsyth

Some ridiculously quick riding this year! It didn't look like the course was running particularly fast from where I was but there was some huge lap numbers there.

I don't remember soloists going over 30 laps before? Maybe someone knows different though.

Well done all. 🙂
