    Left is right and right is left 🙂
    Its the opposite of pedal threads

    Yes NDS is conventional, clockwise, right, so unscrew as normal.

    thankyou all… I told you it was a stoopid question… now to try and loosen the bloody thing off! Hope I don’t have a ‘galling’ issue (stainless BB in a Ti frame 😕 , lot’s of anti-seize in there at the time of install, driveside came out fine but NDS is being a beatch 😡 )

    Easy way to remember it is BBs are threaded to not tighten with the pedalling rotation direction so non-drive side is normal thread and drive side is left hand thread.

    Pedals are the opposite and tighten in the direction of rotation on the axle from pedalling.

    Pedals undoing due to jammed bearings would be a bad thing as you will have an accident.

    BB undoing will be stopped by the cranks and loosening is much better than the BB tightening up in the frame as you may never get it our or damage the BB shell.

    Wrong , pedals loosen in the direction that they rotate on the axle when pedalling
