Further to this thread here;
I decided to enter myself into a couple of races.
First up I had a go at a local cyclocross race (sherwood pines,on my mtb) last saturday, 
that was hard work, the pace they go at is ridiculous but was good fun, and at least I didn't come last 
I've also entered into the altura whinlatter challenge for next month and am trying to get into some sort of shape for that.
How hard was it last year?
What would be the best type of training for this event?
Anyone else entered and think they're going to struggle?!?
