Dislocated knee, ouch. We had a dislocated shoulder yesterday in the group but knee sounds worse.

I’ve been in a helicopter today, does that count?

    Edit: Have a speedy recovery.

ouch is not the word 😯

I did the same thing 13 weeks ago only just getting back to work, worse injury than a broken bone, long recovery period that’s for sure – poor person

    speedy recovery

My commiserations to the patient! I’ve done the knee cap off ,helicopter ride, same afternoon thing myself. Painful and bloody frustrating once the pain eases.

That log makes interesting reading…this chap certainly had a lucky escape…

A canyoner (m, 54) sustained head and serious leg injuries when he slipped at the top of a 14m jump into the river and hit rocks on the way down.

Oh, & wishing you a speedy recovery. 😉

I was at Gisburn today and heard about this, hully gully was rather slippery, I haven’t ridden berms like that in greasy mud before, you have to realise that the slow speed at the top of the berm plus slippery mud isn’t a good combination!

An ambulance with blues on also passed along the fireroad by the Hope Line around 1pm, not sure what happened there, maybe someone on the dh trails.

    Just scanned the log.

    Walkers, tsk.

Big drain on health/ rescue resources. Bloody hell, they can’t even manage to stay on their feet or remember how to get back to their car!

Good at hanging dogpoo in trees tho. 🙂

Pennine – I would never go out in the hideous weather we’ve had today. Chuffed you thought it was me though, the report said aged 35! Ha
