    Hi All
    I have a Giant Talon 0 29er. Bike is great but little niggle is the front wheel keeps kicking over to one side when riding off road. happens when i go fast and rough. Have to stop and loosen the skewer re align the wheel and then continue. Forks are Recon Golds. Tried replacing with a Hope skewer but still not staying put. I guess this doesnt happen with through axles
    Any ideas

    Usually, a problem with skewers is solved with the involvement of XT/Deore skewers.

    Agree with Jamie. Shimano skewers are the best – not glamorous but the best at their job
