I’ve just bought a pair of nearly-new (but 2011) SID 120s. For the frame I’m building up, I really need them to be the full length and 120 travel, but with 100psi in each chamber they come up about 10mm short (i.e., 110mm travel). Putting the pressure up to 125 makes them a bit longer, but I only weigh ten stone, so I’ll need more like 80-90psi.

Does anybody know whether this means there’s a fault on the fork, or do they all come up short with lower pressures? Maybe people of my weight need 140mm forks to actually get 120mm travel with lower air pressures they need to use?
