    Facebook are doing exactly the same. They got told they couldn’t but have redrafted their T&C’s and now they are going to start again

    These ‘free’ services have to be paid for somehow! Remember Google, Facebook etc are not the products in these situations-you are…

    I’m opted out of the ads stuff by default and don’t really have an issue with the rest as it’s a) only stuff showed to friends and b) I don’t use google plus which seems to drive the +1’s, reviews etc… anyway.

    At least you can opt out. Unlike Facebook, which will show your name and photo against products you’ve never ‘liked’
