Been riding and driving for many years now on the roads and just recently noticed that drivers are not indicating the direction theyre going to turn either left or right or straight ahead, until the traffic lights actually turn yellow, which is a bit late for us cyclist if youre makeing your way to the advanced stop line.

So is there some stealth tax on using the indicators, and why dont Audi,s and Bmw drivers, get the optional mirrors and indicatior packs.It would improve their image from that of neaderthals.

Also why do cars fail to stop behind the advanced cyclists stop line, thats the red box with a big cyclist sign painted on it.

Eh?

Basicly why dont they use their indicators before they stop, i was trying to be humour about it,.

because the clicky sound is annoying

'Cos the tick-tock-tick-tock-tick-tock-tick-tock when you're just sat there not going anywhere is annoying…

If you play hardcore techno at top volume it drowns it out – poor excuse !

Because indicating may require you to lift or drop your middle finger several millimetres …….. and some people can't be arsed to lift a finger.

How they find the energy to open a car door and sit down, is a mystery to me.

Why don't the police just…..erm……police the red box? It's a traffic "signal" after all. and according to this nick-nick would supply a much higher grossing revenue stream than the flashy speedy box things.
