    I think Rick Wakeman is an excellent pianist and this is a fantastic tribute to David Bowie.

    Didn’t he play with on some of the early 70s Bowie stuff ?

    He plays on a few Bowie songs, piano on some hunky dory tracks and mellotron on space oddity as far as I know, probably more. He did all sorts of sessions for other people including black sabbath.

    He got himself into trouble whilst studying at the Royal Academy over his session work. The authorities didn’t like their students doing that sort of stuff.
