My four year old Reverb Stealth dropper is dropping every time I sit on it. I’ve checked the pressure is ok and have been quoted about £120 for a repair and service but no guarantees it’ll be perfect? What you reckon Singletrack?

£20 for the tools. £50 for a full seal kit I believe. At least you’ll have the tools ready for next time.

Who’s the quote from? Usual repair price for basics like this classic issue is about £80.

Or pop into a friendly shop and they might send it to Fisher and get it warrantied, even though it’s out of warranty. Fisher don’t care it seems.

Or DIY. Does the post have any play side to side? If so, probably bushing worn, so replacement top cap. Add in seals maybe, but top cap has the main top seals and bushing anyway and easy to fit.

Personally, at £120, that’s not far off a new post, so I’d be looking at other options.
