Can anyone recommend somewhere to stay between Poole and Weymouth in mid September for my wife and me, our one year old and a dog? We’re looking for either 4 days (mon-fri) or a week. We don’t want really cheap and nasty, but we also don’t want to pay too much and would rather not stay on a ‘holiday park’ (I find kids are like farts, mine is great, but other peoples smell like shit!). I’ve tried looking on line, but some of the websites are a pain and there are quite a lot to try and sift through. Thanks.

We stay at a b&b with its own entrance with a double bed, single bed (futon) and space for dog at a farm just 5 mins drive from Lulworth cove. It’s highly recommended and in a grea spot.

Wynards Farm in Winfrith Newburgh and ask for room with external stairs.

Try the National Trust website. Some very nice places to stay in the Purbecks.
