  • Re-attaching a chain ring on a shimano Double + Bash

    Hi,

    I bought a double and bash Slx chainset and on delivery the small ring is not attached. It is brand new in a bag with bolts but I’m not sure how to attach it to the chainset.

    Is there a specific way to put it on e.g. Writing facing up or teeth in a certain space or can I just whack it on and bolt it up?

    there’s often a little ‘tab’ in the inside of the ring at one point – line this up with the crank arm. Ring size markings facing towards the frame.
