Just get a digital tyre monitor for £3 from Halfords.

Downsides – only works on Schreader, have to be careful not to fill it with gunk if you use tyre sealant 🙂

Auto Express did a test on pressure gauges a few years ago. The best, most accurate, are the old style, pen sized, sliding ones.
