So I commute on my bike and throw my tablet in my rucksack along with my D Lock. I always put them in different pockets but I worry I am going to arrive with a cracked screen.

What I am looking for is effectively a 10 inch flight case that I can put the tablet in with it still in its normal case. I can find neoprene solutions but I want something to add more impact protection to the screen.

Any ideas as my googling is not coming up with what I am envisaging.

Otterbox, expensive but I’m sure a Google will throw up a cheaper alternative.

I’ll hang my D lock off my belt if riding with my lap top as you’re right eventually it will trash the screen.

As above, get a “work” lock and leave it there.

The otter boxes are brilliant. i have had them on all our family iPads and in the hands of 7 year olds all of them are still pristine 3 years on.

Thule do some nice molded table cases that are a bit tougher than that usual neoprene jobbies.

    A Jiffy bag might work.

Leave your lock at work. That’s what we do as Kryptonite locks weigh the same as a small sun
