There’s some pics I’d like to put up on my walls in a decent size. 2mp max online via image search. Images are of various riders in the Hinault/Lemons era, and Lloyd Bridges in Airplane.

Will I be able to buy them anywhere? Even a blu-ray still will only be 1080 x 768 or1 whatever yeah?

Some stock photo library’s have a lot of film stock, you can buy the hi res image for personal use. Then get that printed. Try someone like Alamy.com

    Just under 5mp here: http://www.moviestillsdb.com/movies/airplane-i80339/141aedf5

Have to pay to download tho.

Images/stills from films are going to be copyrighted, so any that you find via Google are going to be fairly low res, and higher res ones like bongo’s linked to will have to be paid for, for fairly obvious reasons.

Just looks at Alamy.com website for Blade Runner Film, you can download a hi res image from them for about £10. Take that to a printer and its yours 🙂
