I've got a pair of Revelations (2009) fitted with the Poploc gubbins on the top of the right fork leg.

Realistically I'm not going to use it. Is there anyway to remove it and if so what do you replace it with

    Any help appreciated

    Cheers

    Ken

You can remove it and replace it with a top cap adjuster, but there's not much point really is there? You'll probably save about 30g.

I've just emailed you my guide on exactly how to do this. 🙂

It's a bit more comlicated than just putting a different top cap on, but not hard at all.

    Thanks Peter YGM back

Thanks Glen but I'm not doing it to save weight. Just one less thing to worry about going wrong is more where I'm coming from

In that case, can I suggest rigid forks are your next step?

Seriously, the newer pocloc is streets ahead of previous 'attempts', and I've not had a problem with mine – just keep it oiled (little flap at the top).
