Morning all,

Building a bike back up today and I've noticedd about 1mm of play in the internal headset at the top of the head tube with the fork inserted, this doesn't seem at all right. Is it ruined?

Edit* – Head set is a semi-integrated one.

Probably miles away on this one, but……

I built up a bike a few months ago and couldn't work out why the front end had developed play.

I stripped it and rebuilt the headset 3 times before I realised that the front brake caliper was loose!!!!

How embarassed was I?!?!?!? 😳

It did feel like the headset though!!!!

Honest!!!!! lol
