It's been a while. But I'm not dead, I've just been a bit busy doing things like having kids and fighting county councils. Anyway, now all that nonsense is over and done with, shall we get back to the important stuff?
In 2017 there will be cake. There will be chatting. There will be mildly challenging, extremely social, friendly rides. In a word, there will be pootles.
The last was 53 strong so apologies if I'm a bit more short notice this time, I simply can't manage the numbers but as always
- if you're fast, be prepared to hold a gate and count
- if you're slow, bring conversation, you'll have a lot of company
- bring cake
Can't wait folks, it's been way too long.

Sounds a great idea. It's just about 20 years since I tried to ride off road in the Peak.

It'll be on a resilient route with parking and a pub at the start/end.
These rides are all about the social. Bring your knackered knees, beer bellies, your flabby arses. We don't leave anyone at the back and we always give you time to catch your breath even if you're the last to the top (which you won't be; there'll be a bunch of you).
I need parking for a biggish motorhome 😉
Don't work weekends/shifts anymore so may be able to attend, make a weekend of it with MrsT 🙂

Up for this. Will be very slow as I've mostly been doing commuting duties on the road bike this year with very little time for the MTB, so expect at least one OTB from me as added entertainment.
Date depending I'll be up for driving up from deepest darkest Norfolk to experience the phenomenon known as hills!

Depending on dates and work on-call, I could make an effort, pootling is my ideal race speed these days.

I live in Sheffield for now but I'm moving out towards Penistone shortly.
I do work shifts on a 24x7 rota so can't guarantee I'm always going to be free but I'd love to come play and meet some new people to ride with 🙂
