Supposed to be riding in the peaks tomorrow, ridden there plenty of times in the snow and in -15 conditions so i’ve got the right clothing/prep for the conditions, however this year i’ll be travelling via car up the M6, Buxton, Flash, Mam Tor to Edale.

I know Flash is normally difficult to drive through in bad weather due to its altitude and exposure.

What are the road conditions like?

No issues on main roads, side roads could be icy.

The roads from Chapel-en-le-Frith to Rushup were clear of ice this morning. No hassles on my ride. I can’t imagine Edale Road from Mam Nick would be a problem. Winnats could be though due to the high sides preventing the sun from raising the temperature much.
