That's an optical illusion - the bike and the beard are real-size but Ed is very far away

If I'm honest there are only a few bikes that jump out at me and make me say want.

This is one of them.

Looks great but needs a set up pic.

Where do I express interest? 8)

It just looks right, doesn't it? Purposeful. It's the first FS 29er that's got my juices flowing.

Saw it a few days ago, it looks lovely. Simple lines and the shock is in a position that makes sense.

If they throw in a free beard with every order they´ll have a winner.

Called a "growler"?

That coud be fun explaining that one away..."I'm going to go and ride my growler" for example.

It's a bit sort of... bendy. But only at one end, the other end's all a bit straighty. Either works but if you put the two together you're starting on a dangerous sliding slope that leads you to making bikes that look like Ellsworths.

I was thinking it was more Daring tbh. Though this one's sort of triangle-pretzel rather than square-blob.

You've got to say his name 3 times and draw a pentagram with a teabag.

Growler was from about 2007. Not a current frame in case any were wondering.

EDIT - beaten by seconds by paulosoxo!

The forks on that pic look really spindly though...

Why let that spoil a good thread. I'm sure that Brant will be chuffed that everyone wants to buy a Growler 🙂

Married? IGMC.

don't understand bike in picture.. Guapo29 isn't even out yet, isn't this pretty similar? or no?

128mm rear travel with 440mm chainstays, 67deg head angle, 35mm BB drop. It’s a fun little number

ok so i don't know much about bikes, what's it for? other than having fun 🙂

Izzit me, or does it have a distinct similarity to the original Nukeproof Mega (I realise they have the same designer, but that rear triangle looks like it's come straight off a Nukeproof. Come to think of it, the front triangle doesn't look very different either.........)

Edit: and the bottom bracket arrangement is exactly the same, as far as I can see.

/\ he's not wrong ,especially if you squint hard at the bb/main pivot area (which in turn is'nt too dissimilar to an old turner). No bad thing in my book as long as it does'nt share the mega's soopa steep seat angle.

I hope they do a carbon version following on from the same value as their hard tail frames. 650b compatible would be nice too if it is possible to make a frame adaptable for both without compromising either.
