I happened across a forum frequented by fans of Raleigh Twenty’s – with nerdy conversations about versions badged as Hercules or Triumph, rare examples of Raleigh 22s and the Twenty’s arch rival – the Dawes Kingpin.
One particular poster seemed to be in over his depth with an N+1 fleet of twenties that he was variously restroring and modifying and upgrading to the expense, seemingly, of being able to keep a roof over his head.
