Some weeks ago I started a new topic asking wich one do you prefer as an enduro/all mountain bike, Transition Covert or BMC Trailfox. A couple days ago, I discovered a new beauty, a new beast, a new fabulous bike… the Nuke Proof Mega. It’s seems an amazing bike.

Here it is a video showing what is capable:

What do you think about the bike?

Wonder what it will be like with a coil – i hear that shock will be 200×57.

Anyone know any built up weights?

Just over 30lbs I think. I had a play on Nigel Page’s one briefly, too short to say much other than it seemed v. nice. Ed Oxley was raving about them too. Looks great in the flesh.

    Transition Bottlerocket.

Is heavier and far more expensive. You could by a lot of nice kit with the difference. It’s not expensive because it’s better, the extra money is added as it comes from Taiwan to USA and then again as it comes into UK. Importers, distributors, customs duty etc all add their bit. An Orange 5 is more expensive because you’re employing British workers. I know who I’d prefer to subsidise: the pie eating welders of Cleckhuddersfax, or maybe Nigel Page’s expensive tastes in daft woolly hats.
