Does anyone know why often I don’t (and I’m sure others) don’t feel like eating much after intense exercise? I did my first triathlon today, ate a burger soon after finishing but haven’t felt like anything else since. Just forced down a packet of crisps, can’t face the thought of a full meal. Doesn’t seem to make sense to me.

Quite common, I get that after a day shearing. Probably something to do with all the blood being sent to repair muscles or restoring normal lactic and levels etc.

I usually have a big chocolate milk as soon after a ride as I can, then just eat as normal when hungry.
