    Anyone recommend anywhere, looking for a decent pub/hotel in a nice areas for a few walks and stuff to see, taking an 8 yr old son, banned frm taking bikes by the Mrs, not happy.
    Travelling from the south so don’t want to go too far up!

    Royal Oak at Hurdlow, think their website – peakpub – links to other accommodation nearby as well.
