I just had a look at the new 2015 frame and noticed that the bottom of the down tube protrudes well outside the chainring or where you might ordinarily have protection from a bash guard. I know this isn’t the first frame to have that “feature” but surely in the gnarly terrain that bike will be used in that might result in hard strikes especially on rock step ups. That could easily break or damage the frame?
