Looks like Mr Akrigg's been having some fun again!
The intro reminded me waaaaay too much of this:
...the rest was dead classy. Always good to see what Mr Akriggs been up to.
just watched for a 2nd time as its in the news section
fantastic stuff a good laugh and can smell the woods then at the 2 minute point I know exactly what skills I lack. ๐
That's great.
fantastic that.....proper nice bloke too.... 8)

I kind of think that was pretty much deliberate...

I couldn't jump up that without a bike, never mind on one!
need to practice jumping 'onto' the bike ๐ (sloppy)
That has inspired me to get on my Cotic X, go up to the forest, plough into a patch of mud and grind to a halt, fall over while still clipped in and then throw the bike away in a massive strop.
That's how we would all like to ride our crossers. The reality is still mincing round a flat field with the odd fire road or tow path. ๐
Mr Akrigg is pretty good on a bike though. ๐ฏ
Thanks for sharing Gavin.
Chris reminds me of a human version of a goshawk.
Awesome.
Is the big rocky section filmed on Shipley Glen per chance?
he has to be my favourite rider tbh.wish i had a tenth of his skill.
those mongoose cx bikes look good too (wonder how much they'll sell for?)
Is the big rocky section filmed on Shipley Glen per chance?
No, Harden Moor looks more like.
Also, looks like possibly Skipton Woods here and there, might even be bits in Mouse Woods in Myrtle Park.
The intro reminded me waaaaay too much of this:
Definitely deliberate IMO.
was watching it going - can do that, can do that, then it got to 1.30 and I realized - can't do that ๐ฅ
I've ridden mine around the dinky trail centre at drinkwater park, you can get a fair bit of speed up, blast round corners and over tabletops and rollers, thing is when it starts to go pear shaped it really goes, absolutely no margin for error. In cycling there's always a fine line between fast&fun and world of pain, with a cx bike it's microscopic. The reality is still mincing round a flat field with the odd fire road or tow path.
will watch soon, cheers for sharing.

Nice.
Same video with all the pinch flat fixing included would go on for hours though!
Just watched it again with my boys (3 yrs) and they loved it, but kept on saying "Can you do that daddy?"
Cue embarrassing silence followed by, " Sort of", or usually a plain "No"
I love the fresh attitude Chris has to his riding. It just shines through in all of his vids.
Yawn. Be more interesting watching him get his arse kicked racing proper CX around a park somewhere.
