Dropped TT, Breezeresque dropouts and disc mounts? That’s no Muddy Fox, I’d wager.

Best bet is to ask on Retrobike.

The dropped top tube is a lot earlier than the early 2000s, more like the late eighties!

the muddyfox logo is not a sticker its actualy built off the tubing as there is no welds or rivets so deffo a muddyfox of some form was there much about in the way of disk brakes in late 80’s?

Iain1775 is right: I had an identical frame two or three years ago. As far as I could discover it must have been a Muddy Fox Monarch Ultimate. I couldn’t discover much about that model or what the original components might have been though. I never did work out what kind of disc was designed to go on the back, certainly not I.S. or anything standard, so I ended up fabricating an aluminium disc mount for it.

It had quite good tyre clearances so I ran it as a 29er just for fun:

I then converted it to more of a trekking/hybrid bike and sold it:

    Good luck with yours!

WTF another post of mine disappears!

IIRC those Ritchey drop outs were fitted to lots of cheap bikes. Dimpled stays are not a sign of high end.
