  • Need a replacement SS crank – suggestions please?

    JRA and heard a strange “loose” noise, then the crank fell off (attached to my foot as an added looking stupid bonus).

    Tired of the amount of effort required to keep it going, it’s only a pub/commuter bike, i just want something that works.

    Probably have about 175 quid max for a BB and crankset, preferably in black, but less is good. What’s out there please?

    Deore, ’bout fifty quid for c/set, bb and rings, and its black.

    Get an xtr set of arms from ebay, fit your existing ring.

    Never buy another set of cranks.
