It looks like the type of trails you get in the Cleveland Hills but that covers a pretty big area.

Are there any good routes round there, we've almost run out of ideas further West (Skipton, Kettlewell, Pateley). It looks a bit featureless?

Back of Tesco's in Preston?
If it is, that must be an old photo. The new ferret-hitching posts are right next to the big rock these days
I love posts like this. I mean, they're not at all helpful and might even be annoying to some people, but I find them amusing which in my book is a Good Thing™.
'Ferret hitching posts' FTW!

RUBBISH MOOR!
North Yorks Moors are less barron tundra-likePosted 7 months ago # -
Here we are heading east which would eventually drop down your track.

Couldn't quite place the photo spot because there is a tendency to just bomb down that track
I think the two photos give an idea of the terrain

Yea not the most exciting of tracks however it is natural and gives you a really "out there" feel , a good route through Kirkby malzerd, over grewelthorpe moor and down towards patley bridge
