I used to know a bloke who used to lock up after about 7 or 8 pints, the whole of his upper body, head and neck and arms used to lock solid, the only way we could unlock him was to pour Bacardi down his throat, the worst bit was trying to push his head back to pour the Bacardi without spilling it.

It’s a diagnosis that one or two people I’ve known have been given.

I’ve also read that an allergy can cause head pains similar to what you’re experiencing.

I’m not a doctor or anything. Both the above are just possibilities that may be worth following up. Your problem may be caused by something totally different.

my sinus problem has been associated to a probable seasonal alergy and damage to my sinus lining.
the trouble is that its heard to know who to turn to – even the specialist at the ENT clinic seemed only keen in giving me another drug to try out just to get me out the door.

Have you considered chopping your head off? See if that helps?

As far as treatments go that sounds like a pain the arse.
