I’ve broken several of the £ 3 bottle cages now and looking for something a little more substantial for off road use. Could be the fact I run a 1000ml bottle I guess?

Use versions of all of these.the last bottle cage that broke was because it was worn through.

I do like that pdw bird cage though!

If you after side loader BTW then Spesh concept stores have left hand side loading ones for a fiver at the moment.

Don’t recall ever losing a bottle of having issues.

I use to use the elite ones with a camelbak bottle and although I never lost one it would move out of the cage a couple of centimetres or so every ride…
Bought a toepeak one with an adjustable cage and so far so good…

Salsa Nickless Cage – got to be one of the best “unknown” products out there…

Never lost a bottle and also they seem to last forever. I have quite a few of them.

Spesh Rib Cage. Although £11 for a bit of injection moulded plastic seems like quite a rip off.
    Good though.

Tacx Tao. Had them on my Audax and mtb. Good price and hold the bottles firmly. Never heard of one breaking.

Not broken a Blackburn aluminium one yet. In fact the first of three I have had is still in use on my MTB today. It’s about 12 years old.

I quite like the topeak adjustable ones, though it’s fairly rare that I use a non-standard bottle TBH
