Just had my renewal hrough with the amended limits on bike cover. I’ve got one, maybe two bikes that I need to specify – has anyone on here done it and if so how much was it?

If you call them, they can give you the premium costs for whatever value you decide. As it was I didn’t go over the £2k as it practially doubled my premium.

I ended up paying about £530 for my policy to insure my Blur LTc.
Still cheaper than bespoke bike insurance though and better cover.

Just had the same thing. I added one bike at £4k, one at £3k and doubled my excess to £200. Premium ended up going up about £30-£40.

£45 extra or thereabouts – lok how much it costs to just insure a bike!

Go with the AA. Added 3 specified bikes covered globally for £40 increase in premium.

Are those alternatives new for old cover on the bikes?
